Offensive Onesie Pulled From NYU Campus Bookstore Shelves
While browsing the NYU campus bookstore, Jason came across something disturbing – this baby onesie.
As anyone would do, he snapped a photo and posted it to Facebook.
“I had a very difficult time not raging out about this in the college store.” Jason wrote, “These are onesies … for infants … guess which one is for girls and which one is for boys. THIS is the problem.”
The post went viral, and that’s when students, alumni, and complete strangers demanded NYU do something about it.
“It seems to have made it full circle to the NYU Bookstore … but not before a few people made phone calls. It’s also refreshing to see that I’m not the only one outraged by this kind of thing. #thereishope #whyineedfeminism” Jason wrote.

The NYU Bookstore responded almost immediately, pulling the onesies from the sales floor. Commenters congratulated and thanked Jason for speaking out.
